WALES AND THE WORLD

The Chief Nursing Officer for Wales Showcase Conference is widely recognised as a key platform for the promotion and sharing of best practice for nursing, midwifery and specialist community public health nursing in Wales and is an event not to be missed! The event in 2006 was very heavily subscribed to and early registration is advisable to avoid disappointment.

The themes for this years conference are “Wales in the World”; “The World in Wales” and “Leading and Learning” and are designed to demonstrate how nurses, midwives and specialist community and public health practitioners in Wales have influenced patient focused care and the development of services within and out-with Wales. I am sure that you will be inspired by the initiatives undertaken by your colleagues.

This biennial event is a great opportunity to learn from each other and attendance at this conference will benefit all levels of the professions as well as helping to meet your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
