Reception & Conference Dinner
A drinks reception will be held in the Marble Hall on the first floor at City Hall from 19.00 on Wednesday 18 June 2008, followed by a 3-course dinner. The dress code for the drinks reception and conference dinner is lounge suits / smart informal.
How to register
To register for the conference, please visit the registration page. You will be sent a registration confirmation and invoice.
Conference fee / invoice
To gain entry to the conference, payment must be made in advance. The conference fees are stated below:
| Full event (two days including lunch and conference dinner) | £293.75 (£250 + VAT) |
| One day only (either day including lunch) | £146.88 (£125 + VAT) |
| Conference dinner | £47.00 (£40 + VAT) |
Please note delegates chosen to present a concurrent session paper will receive a 20% discount on the conference fee and delegate chosen to present a poster will receive a 10% discount. Please visit the Call for Papers page for further details.
Payment can be made by cheque, postal order or BACS. Credit / Debit card payments will also be accepted but will be subject to an administration charge of 3.5%
Concurrent sessions
You will have the opportunity to attend six concurrent sessions during the conference.
Full details of the concurrent sessions are currently being finalised. Full details of sessions and how to book them will be sent to registered delegates at the beginning of April.
Hotel accommodation
We are provisionally holding a number of bedrooms at a range of hotels in Cardiff for the night of Wednesday 18 June. These rooms are available, at preferential rates, on a first come first served basis.

Delegates with specific requirements
The Welsh Assembly Government and the Chief Nursing Officer for Wales aim to offer a fully accessible conference. If you have any specific needs related, for example, to sight, hearing, mobility access or special diets, please tick the relevant box when completing the registration form and the conference organisers, Glasgows, will contact you to make the appropriate arrangements.
Cancellation policy
In the event that you need to cancel your place at the conference, the organisers, Glasgows, must be informed in writing (email acceptable).
A full refund will be provided up to 3 months in advance of the conference. A 50% refund will be provided up to 1 month in advance of the conference. No refund will be provided within 1 month of the conference.
Named substitute delegates will be accepted. Full contact details of substitute delegates should be submitted to Glasgows at the time of cancellation.
