Chief Nursing Officer for Wales
Rosemary Kennedy joined the Civil Service as Chief Nursing Officer to the then Welsh Office at the end of January 1999. This post is one of the four UK Chief Nursing Officer posts supporting Government administration.
Jeff Evans
Senior Lecturer, University of Glamorgan
Jeff graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1989 with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Since graduating he has held a number of clinical posts in intensive & critical care and education throughout Wales and England. He joined the University of Glamorgan in 1998 as a lecturer in life sciences applied to nursing, and currently teaches life sciences and critical care to both pre-registration and post-qualifying groups.
Rose Ball
MSc Disaster Management student, University of Glamorgan
Rosanne Ball was born in Reading, Berkshire in 1983. She was educated at St. Gabriels School, Newbury and completed her A levels at Lord Wandsworth’s College, Hampshire where she also completed the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. Rosanne graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2004 having obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in paediatric nursing with honours.
Professor Sheila Hunt
Dean and Head of School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies, Cardiff University
Professor Sheila Hunt is currently currently the Dean and Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Cardiff University. She trained as a nurse and as a midwife in Cardiff and since 1990 has worked in universities and the NHS in Cardiff, Swansea, Mid Glamorgan, and Birmingham. Her most recent appointment was as the Dean of the School of Nursing at Dundee University.
Roswyn Hakesley-Brown CBE
MPhil BA RN RM RNT DN (Lond) Cert Ed (B'ham)
Roswyn is a trained nurse and midwife. For several years she worked as a ward sister at the Royal Hospital in Wolverhampton. She later qualified as a teacher and worked as a nurse tutor at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. She carried out post-graduate research at the University of Warwick on individualised care and was awarded an MPhil. She later published her first book on her findings.

Kate Hull Rodgers, director of HumourUs Limited, is an international leading authority on Humour in the Workplace. For the past 18 years her advice has been sought by governments, health organizations and businesses in 29 countries on 5 continents.
