  East Midlands Airport

East Midlands Airport is situated 18 miles south of Nottingham City Centre, and is conveniently located in the middle of 3 East Midlands cities; Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.

It is easily accessed by car or public transport being situated two miles from Junction 24 and one mile from Junction 23a of the M1 and with regular bus and train services to and from Nottingham.

Nottingham Skylink – a high quality direct bus service provided by Nottingham City Council and East Midlands Airport

Visitors to and from Nottingham can take the high quality and direct Nottingham Skylink bus. This service links the Airport with both Nottingham city centre and Nottingham Railway Station, half hourly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Nottingham Skylink bus stop is on Friar Lane, Market Square - just a short walk from the NET tram stop.

Bus

To catch a bus to the city centre, turn right out of the station, across Carrington Street and walk 50 yards. There you will find a bus stop where frequent services to the city centre operate throughout the day. For more information visit www.nctx.co.uk

A combined bus and tram ticket can be added on to your train ticket by buying in advance. An add on ticket will cost £2.70 and can be used on all buses and the tram.

Train / bus add on ticket

Passengers travelling to Derby, Loughborough and Nottingham railway stations can connect onto the relevant bus service at a discounted rate by purchasing a train and bus add on ticket from the railway station the journey starts at.

Add on tickets cannot be purchased online.
