EVENT TIMINGS
The conference programme will run from 9.00am including registration on Tuesday 27 November 2007 and finish at approx 4.30pm on Wednesday 28 November 2007 with a reception and conference dinner on Tuesday evening.

The ’Early Bird Fee‘ of £176.25 (£150 + VAT) has been extended until Friday 23 November 2007. Please note fees do not include accommodation. Payment can be made by cheque, postal order or BACS. Debit / Credit card payments will also be accepted but will be subject to an administration charge of 3.5%.

WORKSHOPS
Workshop sessions will be taking place on both Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 November 2007. You will have the opportunity to attend two workshop sessions which must be pre-booked. Please indicate your preferred workshop sessions on your registration form.
You will be allocated your first and second choice wherever possible. As there are limitations on capacity within workshop rooms, all preferences will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Should your first choices of workshop session not be available you will automatically be allocated one of your alternative choices.

HEALTHCARE SCIENTISTS OF THE YEAR AWARDS
This year the six awards will be presented at the CSO Conference dinner which is to be held at the Holiday Inn Regent's Park on the evening of Tuesday 27 November 2007. Full details of the awards categories and information on how to submit an entry can be found by clicking the HCS AWARDS link to the left of this page. Alternatively, please email the conference organisers, Glasgows, on cso2007@glasgows.co.uk who can arrange for the information to be sent out to you.
CONFERENCE DINNER DRESS CODE
Dress code for the evening reception and conference dinner is lounge suits / business.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF REGISTRATION
We will acknowledge receipt of your registration form within 3 working days.
JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
Full joining instructions, together with travel details and location map, will be sent to registered delegates after Friday 9 November 2007, approximately two weeks before the conference.
DELEGATES WITH SPECIFIC NEEDS
The Department of Health aim to offer a fully accessible conference. If you have any specific needs related, for example, to sight, hearing, mobility access or special diets (vegetarian diets will automatically be catered for), please indicate these on the registration form and the conference organisers will contact you to ascertain your individual needs.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that you need to cancel your place at the Conference, the event organisers, Glasgows, must be informed in writing (email is acceptable). Cancellations to Friday 16th November 2007 will be subject to a charge of 20% of the delegate fee. Later cancellations will not receive any refund. Named substitute delegates may be accepted subject to approval by the Department of Health. Full contact details of substitute delegates should be submitted to Glasgows at the time of cancellation.
