A video conference link connects the proceedings to the Agency’s Headquarters in London, which in turn distributes the signal to offices in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, allowing staff who cannot attend to keep up-to-date on the issues raised.
By webcasting the events and providing a video on demand archive, the FSA can reach a much wider public audience and increase the opportunity for participation in crucial debates.
It is significant to note that webcast audiences have remained consistent for the last two years with some significant peaks for meetings where key issues are being discussed. Video on demand is rising monthly, with a three-fold increase over the same two year period.
