Widely regarded as the public sector Awards event of the year, Beacon Awards successfully combine the serious business of Government Ministers acknowledging service excellence with the celebration of achievements and an evening packed with excitement and enjoyment for 600 guests.

Guest host in 2007 was flamboyant TV personality Floella Benjamin and in 2008, the awards were hosted by one of the UK’s top TV journalist, newsreader and presenter, Martyn Lewis, both of whom were sourced, contracted and managed by Glasgows.

Glasgows’ service on each of the two ceremonies has also included complete event production including set & creative lighting design & installation, trophy production, script-writing and choreography. On the night, we provided full stage management and co-ordination of the complex audio visual requirements included live relay-vision. We also organised & managed media & attendee photographs which were available to download from a designated client website link within hours of the event.
