The Glasgows Group has been commissioned by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to design, produce and build its exhibition stands for the last six years.

During that time we have installed stands at a wide range of conferences and shows including Labour Party Conferences, Education Shows at the NEC and SECC, the British Cardiac Society Conferences, AMBEX, MELA, HRD and IOSH Shows, the British Chamber of Commerce Annual Conference and the Association of Science Education among others.

Towards the beginning of our association, we put proposals forward to the BHF to produce a modular-designed stand that could be reused in many different shapes and sizes at the shows they attended. This would enable us to provide a cost effective solution to their various exhibition requirements.

As well as being flexible, the stand design had to achieve a balance between common corporate branding at all the shows and distinct theming for the audiences attending each particular show (which ranged from school teachers to business leaders and personnel staff to senior doctors and consultants).

The original modular stand attended around 20 events over a four-year period. We have now designed and produced a completely new-look modular stand with which we expect to achieve the same number of outings over the next three to four years.
