Client: Northwest Development Agency Title: Northwest Women in Business Awards
Venue: Haydock Park Racecourse
The Northwest Women in Business Awards was the first region wide event celebrating the achievements of women that are running some of the region’s most successful and innovative businesses. As well as recognising the individual achievements of successful entrepreneurs, the event aimed to inspire and encourage more women to consider enterprise as a career and increase the number of women starting up or expanding businesses in the region.
Over 200 guests attended the awards lunch organised by Glasgows, which was sponsored and supported by the Northwest Development Agency, Bolton Business Ventures, Business Link and Make your Mark. TV presenter Esther McVey hosted the event and guest speaker was Helen Colley who inspired and entertained the audience with the story of how she turned a farmhouse kitchen pudding business into the Farmhouse Fare brand which she sold for £10M
The event was hailed a complete success as Sylvia Philips, Chair of the Northwest Women’s Enterprise Forum told us.
“We were delighted with the way in which Glasgows worked with the venue and transformed the room. The stage set, table dressings and floral arrangements perfectly reflected the celebratory tone of event and the awards branding, and their professional production of the stage ceremony guaranteed a thoroughly enjoyable and successful event.”
