SELLAFIELD LTD APPOINT GLASGOWS FOR 3 YEAR EVENTS CONTRACT

Glasgows Event Management has secured a three year contract with Sellafield Ltd to deliver events for their project management staff across sites in Cumbria and Cheshire.

Sellafield Ltd is the company responsible for safely delivering decommissioning, reprocessing, nuclear waste management and fuel manufacturing activities on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

The company operates from three sites; Sellafield in Cumbria where the majority of the staff are based and Capenhurst and Risley in Cheshire.

Glasgows, based in Preston have been appointed to provide production and audio visual support for a series of Project Management Forums. Multiple events will be held each year for approximately 220 people to enable expertise, best practice and knowledge to be shared between the project teams working across the different sites.

Paul Morey, Managing Director at Glasgows said “We are extremely pleased to be working with such a well respected organisation and we will work very closely with Sellafield Ltd in order to deliver a catalogue of successful events over the next three years. These are high profile events with Executive Director participation and where the technical support must be at the highest level”.

He added, “Sellafield Ltd has a culture and reputation for health and safety management and we will be mirroring this across our operations”.

Glasgows has previously undertaken events for the Health & Safety Executive and organised Funded Nuclear Decommissioning consultation events for BERR.
