WELSH NURSES MARK FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE ANNIVERSARY

We have just delivered our second Chief Nursing Officer for Wales Showcase Conference for around 275 delegates and addressed by the Welsh Assembly’s Minister for Health and Social Services, Edwina Hart. The Conference also marked the 100th anniversary of the death of nursing legend, Florence Nightingale, and included a presentation on the Florence Nightingale Foundation.

The Showcase is held every two years, and is an important opportunity for nursing professionals from across Wales – many of whom work in isolation – to come together to share experiences and discuss best practice.

Glasgows successfully delivered the two day event being involved in project planning undertaking venue and catering co-ordination, speaker liaison, and providing complete on-site management, stage set & technical installations and event production for the plenary room and twelve breakout sessions.

Within days of delivering the event, we had received two enquiries from delegates who had attended the Showcase Conference and who now want to discuss their own event management requirements.
