Background

The Department of Health are hosting a conference that will give Nurses and AHPS the opportunity to be involved in primary and community care strategy.

The conference will enable nurses and AHPs to be updated on emerging thinking on primary and community services and input their views to implementation plans that will shape delivery.

Speakers will include:

Dr David Colin-Thome, National Clinical Director for Primary Care
& Mark Britnell Director General of Commissioning & System Management

Delegates will be able to contribute through workshops on the key work-streams associated with the strategy. Each SHA has allocated places for nurses and allied health professionals.

The conference will commence at 8:45 am with registration and close at 3:30 pm. Please see draft programme for further details.
