Annual Tourism Awards 2010

The brief:

A tight budget and higher risk of lower incomes from sponsorship; the event design team had to provide innovative, low cost, high impact solutions for the stage set, audiovisual equipment and operations.

On the day:

Our services included the design of a completely new Awards logo for 2010, the sourcing and supply of mixed material awards trophies, input into the design of the souvenir brochure and complete show scheduling and input into the script writing.

Our Production team provided a complete package of sound, lights, camera and direction, and working with the BT Convention Centre’s own rigging team; Glasgows produced a set which was completely hung, providing a stylised backdrop following a boutique hotel theme.

Outcome:

On the night of the awards guests experienced a high energy, fast paced night of celebration and entertainment which was carefully choreographed and presented seamlessly, with the venue, caterers and Glasgows all working together.

The 2010 event provided immense savings, and utilised as much hire stock from Glasgows and the BT Convention Centre as was practically possible to further save on bought in costs.
