UK Coaching Awards 2010
"...The feedback we’ve had so far is that it was ‘the best UK Coaching Awards yet’ (and it’s been running for 13 years!!) That compliment reflects hugely on the set design and slick ceremony.” “Both myself and Karen were extremely impressed from start to finish and we will be sure to put forward a strong recommendation to work with you again. Thank you for being so flexible (and patient) both pre-event and onsite. The constant contact and updates is something we haven’t experienced in the past with our AV suppliers so our mind was at ease from the word go!”
The brief:
sports coach UK is a charitable organisation and is the lead agency for development of the UK Coaching System. The purpose of this event was to celebrate some of the UKs most talented, dedicated coaches and those involved in developing coaches. The Awards are coordinated to incorporate nominations from across the Home Countries creating a unified celebration of Coaches across the UK.
On the day:
Glasgows were contracted to provide full pre-production & and onsite production support for the awards ceremony, developing the running order for the event and liaising with all parties to ensure the evening ran to time and was seamless in its delivery. Elements included designing the stage set, design and production of all on-screen content, venue dressing including the production of banners and table cards and production of two separate films, the first to open the main awards after dinner, showcasing the array of sports covered and highlighting achievements, and a second shortened version to be used as an opening sting for the first part of the evening.
Outcome:
Although no formal evaluation was conducted with the guest in attendance, feedback on the evening was extremely positive with numerous guests commenting that the event was excellent in delivery and atmosphere. Client feedback was equally as glowing on the night and over the following days.
