Nations and Regions Media Conference 2011
I just wanted to say thank you so much to you and the team for all your stirling work on the conference. Even with all the challenges I thought it looked really strong and slick. However much we try and plan things there are always things that change at the last minute and you and the whole team handled all of that really well. The brief:
Each year, broadcasters, commissioners, policy makers, regulators, politicians, independents, freelances, screen agencies, investors and new entrants drawn from all nations and regions of the UK attend to learn about, and discuss, the challenges and opportunities facing those working in the media industry. The conference is the only event of its kind outside London.
On the day:
For the fourth year in succession Glasgows provided: -
- full technical production and assistance for the opening address on the first evening(Quays Room) and a full day conference covering the plenary, two breakout sessions and rehearsals on the second day (Compass Room)
- stage set design and production
- live camera relay and recording facilities
- delegate registration service with a bespoke online registration and payment facility, together with badges and bespoke lanyards
- full on-site registration and management of students assisting on the day
- management of client’s website including design and updates
- brand design and concept of the event for 2011 – “Wheel of Fortune”
